THE STARS AT NIGHT
A feature documentary
The Stars at Night is a feature documentary that explores humanities connection to the night sky; how our storytelling traditions, myths, and beliefs were shaped by those who looked skywards millennia ago. Unfortunately today 80% of Americans and 1/3 of the Earth's population live in places where light pollution has made the Milky Way unseeable. We hope our film draws attention to the importance of the ability to see the night sky, and offers some ways in which we can reduce light pollution so that everyone can have the opportunity to look up and wonder.
